General:

Congratulations to next year's National Honor Society officers: Sergeant-at-Arms Ava Rodriguez-Mansholt, Treasurer Olive Goodall, Secretary Adalyn Boblitt, Vice President Mae McTaggart, and President Carson Contreras.

 

Reminder to all 8th grade: No cell phones are allowed on the field trip today. Please leave them in your locker.

 

Reminder to students who are attending the Lion's Club Breakfast on Thursday: Please report to your first hour class at 8:15 and teachers will dismiss you at 8:30 to come to the cafeteria.

 

Today is the last day to sign up for Prom tables. Please do so by the end of the day.

 

Student Council t-shirts are in.  Please see Ms. Marsaglia and pay your $5.00 if you have not already done so.

 

Reminder that as warmer weather is coming, please be mindful of Pawnee's dress code. No crop tops, shorts must come down to the middle finger, and no spaghetti straps or arm-hole cut-out shirts.

 

Illinois Air National Guard (Tom Garvin) will be here today. He will set up outside office during homeroom. 

 

Reminder to Student Council members (both 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years) the Six Flags trip permission slip and money STRICT deadline is this Friday at 8:15 a.m.  See Ms. Marsaglia or Mrs. Harris to turn in your slip and money.

 

Permission slips for the 8th-grade class trip to Six Flags are due on Thursday. Please return your permission slip and money to Mrs. Bilyeu or Mr. Ihlendfelt. 

 

Bass Fishing Club: The team picture for the yearbook will be taken at the beginning of 1B on Friday. Teachers please send students to the varsity gym for the picture right after attendance/lunch count and students will return to class right after the picture.

 

Summer help applications are on the counter in the high school office.  You must be 16 years or older to apply. Please turn in the applications to the office by  May 9th.  Late applications will not be accepted.

 

The 8th grade will take a class photo today during homeroom in the varsity gym.  Please wear your class shirt, a Pawnee shirt, or a red or blue shirt for the photo.  

 

There will be an FFA meeting on Tuesday, May 6th, at 7:30am.
