Board Elections 2015

Due to Public Act 98-0115, effective July 29, 2013 and pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/9-10, candidates for members of the Pawnee Board of Education are now required to file their nomination papers with the County Clerk.  Previously, they filed these nominations with the secretary of the school board.

In an effort to help the school board candidates prepare for candidate filing for the upcoming April 7, 2015 elections, please note that nomination petition forms must now be picked up in the County Clerk’s Office for Sangamon County. Forms will be available to be picked up beginning Tuesday, September 23, 2014. The last day for filing these petitions will be Monday, December 22, 2014.
