There will be no school on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Also, there will be no school on Tuesday because of teachers’ institute. School will resume on Wednesday, May 27 with a 12:00 dismissal. Please have a safe weekend.
Next Wednesday is the beloved noon dismissal. Here is the plan;
Students are to report to first hour.They will clean out their lockers.Teachers in the given hallways are to check the student lockers.Grade cards will be distributed by first block rosters.
We will have movie day.Teachers please put a signup sheet and the movie you are showing outside your door.Do not put any more sign up slots than seats in your room.First come first served.If you think your movie might be questionable, please ask me.Please look for a school appropriate movie.No “R” rated.
At the bell at the end of first block, students are to report to the room that they signed up to watch the movie.Teachers, use your signup sheet to take attendance.Once you have taken attendance, have a student bring your attendance sheet to the office.Students will be in your classroom for the remainder of the morning.
Students may bring snacks to your classroom if you allow it.Please make sure all trash is thrown away.
Students will have their cell phones on them because their lockers are cleaned out.They are not to use them or have them out during the class period.No exceptions.If they have them out, confiscate them and return them to the students at the end of the day
Please do not allow students to leave your classroom to roam the halls.At the half-way point of the morning, take a restroom break in which you supervise.
I will release the students from the office at noon.
Any student that still needs a schedule change should see Mrs. Duenas TODAY. Teachers, you can send students to me after they finish their final as long it’s ok with you.
Student Council: All members need to turn in their Six Flags permission slips along with $5.00 for their own ticket and $37.00 for guest ticket. Money and permission slip need to be turned in to the office by Wednesday, May 27. See Katelyn Tarr if you have questions.
