Duties

The superintendent is expected to lead the district as the chief executive officer, providing professional and educational leadership to the school district.  

Qualifications

Must have Illinois Superintendent licensure.

Salary/Benefits

The total compensation package will be regionally competitive and based on successful experience and education.  It is expected that the initial contract will be for a multi-year period, as authorized by Illinois statutes.

Pawnee CUSD #11 is a Pre-Kindergarten-12th grade school district of 570 students.  Pawnee is a village of approximately 2,700 people located on Route 104, three miles East of Interstate 55, 15 miles South of Springfield, 45 miles Southwest of Decatur, and 90 miles from St. Louis.
