New Student Registration

NEW STUDENT TO THE DISTRICT?
All new students to the Pawnee School District are required to register IN PERSON. Our in-person registration is August 3rd from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the Pawnee Cafeteria.

To proceed with Registration, the parent/guardian will need to have bring the following documents to this in-person registration:
- Birth Certificate (a copy is sufficient as a certified copy will come later with formal records)
- All updated health information required by the State of Illinois for your child’s incoming grade level (this could include: vaccination record, well-child checkup/physical examination, vision exam, dental exam, sports physical).
- Proof of Residency. Provide one item from Category I and one item from Category II in order to prove residency.
- Category I: Documents related to identification or ownership/rental. • Valid ID – Such as a Driver’s License or Passport • FOID Card • Mortgage Papers/Closing documents • Signed Lease/Rental Agreement or Record of Recent Payment • Property Tax Bill
- Category II: Documents related to other types of purchases and legal relationships. • End of Year Interest Statement from Mortgage Lender/Bank • Utility bill, gas, electric or water • Cable, satellite, internet or telephone bill (may include cellular bill) • Voter registration card • Auto registration • Public aid card • Payroll documentation • Credit card bill
- Transcript from previous school of enrollment OR information pertaining to homeschooling
- OPTIONAL: any information pertaining to IEP or 504
