"What My Pet Means to Me" Essay Contest

Maddie Busby, a student in Ms. Doglio's English class, submitted a winning entry in Illinois Humane's "What My Pet Means to Me" essay contest. She won 3^rd place for the 5^th grade in the state-wide competition. In addition to her prize of a $25^.00 gift card, a book in Maddie and Maisy's, honor will be given to the school.

Illinois Humane displays the student's essays and their photos at its state fair exhibit and other various events throughout the year.

Town & Country will host a reception in Springfield to honor the winners and present their awards on:
Saturday, May 30^th.
