Sports Physicals

Is your athlete ready to start?

SPORT PHYSICALS 

• Sport physicals are required prior to participating in school sports.  IESA and IHSA sport physicals remain current for 390 days. 
• Physicals that are turned in over the summer are to be placed in the RED DROP BOX located in the foyer by the nurse’s office.   This is the only location to turn in a physical over the summer.
• JH Softball, JH Baseball, Football, HS Cheer, and HS Volleyball begin practices before the start of school.  Sport physicals are required to be turned in at least 1 week prior to the first practice.
• Please turn the physicals in early.  The nurse begins checking physicals in June and we ask you turn them in as soon as they are done.  If the physical is not completed correctly or is missing any required components it cannot be accepted and the athlete is not allowed to participate until a revised physical is received from the physician. 

Avoiding delays by turning in physicals early (at least one week prior to the first practice) to the RED DROP BOX assures the athlete is ready to start participation on the first day of practice.
