The Pawnee Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that a Farmersʼ Market will begin in Pawnee. The first official Market Day is Tuesday - May 18, 2010 (Until Mid October) The Market will run every Tuesday evening Rain or Shine until early to mid October. The official Market hours are 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will be held on the Village Square Do you have plants, fresh fruit, vegetables, farm fresh eggs, chickens, rabbits, hand made items, crafts, quilts, flowers, soap, etc. that you would like to sell? (NO Rummage Sale type items will be allowed) Vendors of products at the Pawnee Area Chamber of Commerce Farmersʼ Market are required to live in Illinois. All products offered for sale must be produced by the vendor on land or in production facilities they own or operate in Illinois.

Each Vendor Must Display a sign clearly showing... 1. Their producer/business name or the name of the farm/business 2. The businessʼs location and telephone number 3. Keeping the pavilion area clean Vendors are responsible for providing their own bags for purchases, as well as making change.
Looking for an opportunity to perform? Have we got a deal for you! The Chamber would like to invite Members of the Community to drop in, Sit down, And jam during the Farmers Market!! What a great idea!! Anyone willing to perform in public is invited! You can play a single instrument or bring a band, sing a solo or invite a choir, Have your pet do tricks, Put on a knitting demonstration or perform magic tricks… Practically anything that can be done in public on The village square is welcome! However, there is one string attached… Anyone wishing to perform must Contact Us and schedule a date. Patti Williams at 217-725-8225 Patty will make sure that we don’t have everyone show up on the same night! What hidden talent exists out there in Indian territory? We won’t know unless you or your group signs up and struts your stuff!! Enjoy the summer and remember to visit the Farmers Market each Tuesday on the Square!
