Meet Mrs. Spengler

Hello! My name is Pam Spengler. I have been with the Pawnee School District since I did my student teaching under the direction of Ms. Doglio, who was then teaching first grade. Once hired to the staff in 1997, I taught 3rd grade for 10 years, and am currently teaching my first year of 2nd grade. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield, with majors in Psychology and Teacher Education.

I've been married for 32 years to my husband Ken and have two sons Aaron (28), Adam (24), a daughter-in-law Libby, and a wonderful two year old grandson, Cohen. I love being a mom, grandma, and teacher!

As teachers we hope we can make a difference in a child's life. I hope to instill the love for reading and make learning fun and meaningful. I love to read, walk my dog, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe Everyday Matters! "Measure not the milestones, but the moments!"
