Get Your Visitor Pass In Our Office
It is a state mandate that ALL visitors report to the office for a visitor's pass. No parent, volunteer, or vendor is to be in any portion of the building without proper identification and approval. Even though we may know you quite well and appreciate all you do for our students, we need to follow this regulation. We also ask that you drop off and pick up your children either in the foyer or at a designated outside area. Please do not wait in the hallways or at the classroom doors. Thanks for your consideration.

Classroom
Disruptions
Every
time a classroom is disrupted with a phone call, a knock on the
door, an unexpected visitor, loud hallway noise etc., 4% of
the learning going on at that time is lost. This percentage
number can accumulate quite rapidly, causing loss of focused
learning. Therefore, we ask that you communicate all
necessary information regarding transportation arrangements,
appointments, etc. with your children before they come to school.
They can then bring a note with complete details to also
inform us. Forgotten lunches, coats, etc. should be brought
to the office for timely distribution. Messages for your child
during the school day should be kept to a minimum.
End-of-the-Month
Assemblies
You are
welcome to attend our monthly assemblies. Be aware that assemblies
are not always on the last school day of the month, so check the
Pawnee Post or call the school office to find out the scheduled
date. Assemblies start at 8:30 a.m. and usually last 45
minutes.
We have an excellent school with great support and cooperation between school and community. Your students are welcomed daily by a caring, dedicated staff who are committed to educating your child. The messages here are meant to maintain our safe and quality learning environment!
