Meet Mrs. Schleicher
My name is Nicole Schleicher and I am pleased and excited about working with your child in first grade this year. As many of you know, this is my second year at Pawnee Elementary, and it has been one filled with many wonderful memories.
I attended Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville where I earned a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Prior to teaching at Pawnee I taught first grade for one year in Riverton. My philosophy includes making learning fun and helping each child grow both socially and academically through our time together .
My husband is also a teacher. We have been married three years, and are expecting our first child in December. It is a boy, but we do not have a name picked out yet! We live in Divernon. Most time away from school involves reading, shopping, and attending sporting events; my husband is the Athletic Director at Tri City. I also enjoy swimming and scrapbooking.
