Study Island Help: New Users

Welcome Second Graders going into Third

User Name: first & last name followed by @pawnee
No spaces or capitals.
Tom Smith's would look like this: tomsmith@pawnee

Password: Same one used in Mrs. Kern's computer lab.
Children know their passwords; most chose simple 3 or 4 letter words. If it doesn't work, try 123, and help your child change it once s/he is logged on. We tried to get them changed before the last day, but may have missed a few.

Choose Reading; Click Start Studying; Open a lesson; read & then minimize it--you can look at it if you need to.

Use the drop down menu to select the number of questions. *There is no pre test; section was removed for summer edition. Always click explanation to find out why your answer was wrong or right. Done ends your session, only the questions you've answered will be scored. If you click Play Again, you'll return to the same topic. Return to Maintakes you back to where you started and you can choose Start Studying.

Children must answer at least 10 questions to pass a topic and earn a Blue Ribbon. Ribbons are printable; Click on ribbon.
